Pete Sheppibone, SashMan and Toni Fox close in for the next summer hit: “Paradise” is the HandsUp bomb of this triple team. Simultaneously with the release of the popular Technobase FM Vol. 16 CD compilation, the established record label Sonic Flash releases the Original Mixes now. A phat remix release will follow, soon!
It would not be odd to think that Pete Sheppibone & SashMan feat. Toni Fox position themselves as a fixed music band, after releasing the third song in this exact collaboration after “Hello Happiness” and “Love”. In fact, they are three single artists, though, who decided to keep this project running, as the collaboration just works especially well for the artists and the fan base. “Don’t change a winning team” suits well for this cooperation. Pete Sheppibone and SashMan provide the instrumental; Toni Fox writes and records the vocals with her song writer; the Sonic Art Mastering studio puts its hands on for the finishing touches. Finally, Sonic Flash as a well-known HandsUp label is the ideal platform to present and distribute the songs.
While SashMan gained wider recognition in the HandsUp genre since this collaboration, Pete Sheppibone and Toni Fox are both established artists in the scene. Pete Sheppibone celebrates his 10-year anniversary this year, as he had his first appearance with the remix for Accuface – “Let Your Mind Fly” in 2007. Just one year later, he had his first massive hit with the remix for Accuface’ “Red Sky”, which also rocked the Melbourne Shuffle scene in Australia and which was rightly featured on the recently published Future Trance Best of 20 Years. 2009 was the release of the first of meanwhile seven successful Pete Sheppibone singles; “Yes We Can!”. Toni Fox has become indispensable in the HandsUp scene since her first appearance in 2012. Highlights of her vocalist career have been collaborations with Gainworx (“45 Seconds”, “Like A Freefall”), Quickdrop (“24 Hours Happiness”), Aiden Dearing (“Let Me Be”) and, certainly, with Pete Sheppibone & SashMan (“Love”, “Hello Happiness”, and now “Paradise”), which were all released on Sonic Flash, respectively its partner label Metrophonic Resistance.
“Paradise” underscores once more that HandsUp music stands for a cheerful mood and positive vibes. This is mirrored by the lyrics, melodies and harmonies.
